To say Jaded was a little… shocked by the wolf’s sudden transformation would be putting it mildly. How was it even possible that a prey animal could also be a predator, in the same body!? Or perhaps the same mind, if not the same body. Nerves were beginning to dance in her stomach, and along her flanks as the stallion approached. Auds flicked back and forth repeatedly, undecided on where she should focus her attention. The approaching stud was a mystery to her, and therefore a threat. But to let her guard down, in this unknown land, could prove to be a fatal mistake on her part. Nares widened, Vegas’ scent pulled past sensory organs. He still smelled slightly of wolf, though her eyes did not deceive her, he was indeed equine. Muscles tense, ready to flee if he made too sudden a move, Jaded flicked an aud forth at his words. Hopeful Valley? Perhaps this was a herd land afterall. The thought cheered her considerably, but did little to relax her. A quick, jerky nod was given in return to the stud’s own movement, and she took a step back, wanting still more distance between them. “Thank you… I’m Jaded Triumph.” She didn’t typically give her name so readily, but the stud’s transformation had her spooked, and not thinking quite clearly. |
