Wow, could 2 days be more opposite of each other? It broke my heart to see "Joust Lake" on Saturday, knowing without having to be told that there would be no joust. John and Eric did do a very wet ground combat show for the final joust, though. See, the way it works at PARF, if the final joust gets cancelled, PARF has to give all the patrons a refund, so they said the horses drowned in the lake or something and did a ground show.
It was great to see that Joust Lake had completely disappeared on Sunday and the jousts were able to go on - and what shows they were. Wow. At the 1st joust - the 4 knights (John, Eric, Nick and Jason) jousted for rings and then had a 4 man joust. The second joust was a joust between John (Sir Robert Dudley)and Eric(Dante de Nere). Not going to tell ya the outcome, though - that would ruin it for those that haven't seen it yet but will be seeing it later. :-) I did take lots of pictures (4 full rolls, 2 of which were nothing but the jousts) that will be up on my site either Wednesday or Thursday. I even took a picture of Joust Lake.
And, yes, the PARF crowd loves the Impact guys. I had almost forgotten what it's like to watch a joust at PARF's huge joust arena and hear THOUSANDS of people cheering for the guys.
