Subject: The long awaited PA update Part 1: Author: Paul (aka Sir Thomas) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 19:43:22 08/25/03 Mon I have and internet connection...I have and internet connection...I have and internet connection... FINALLY! We got the phone line hooked up at the booth and now I can get the website updated...and check in with all of you. So the trip back from Ohio was uneventful and long....we miss all you guys out there! We look forward to seeing those that are comming out soon! As for PA, as most of you heard, opening day was a waste! 3 trees were struck by lightning at about noon. One was stripped of bark in a really cool spiral pattern down the trunk....shards flew 30 - 40 yards away and the bow maker, took a large piece and will be making a bow out of it. Now that's cool! The shows are progressing well, the horses are having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the largest crowds they've ever seen. A couple of thousand people roaring for blood, gets Vada and Joy REALLY up! :)Unfortunately, Vada was a little too up for the first show on Sunday and took John for a bit of a ride. For those of you who saw it, you witnessed a rare once in a life time event. John is doing ok and should be in the show next week! :) We are really happy to be back at our home show and have started working on our first independent production Bloodfest 2003, Tournament of the Helm.
