- Hello Everybody! -- Brandon, 19:08:09 12/28/05 Wed
Hello Everybody! I want to start by thanking Blake for sending me that Email I recieved in my kbplayer86@hotmail.com inbox. I am still working to improve my computer's performance. My first step is going to be to add at least 256 mb of ram (random Access Memory) into the system so it opens programs faster. I wish to say happy new year to everybody. I hope that everything will go well for you and your families. Does anyone have a suggestion for my computer as far as the add/remove programs list. The program Command.com, which is the dos prompt program, appears in the list. It is not supposed to appear in the list when windows ME is installed. If you have any suggestions please send me an Email, and I'll greatly Apriciate that. Everyone have a good time, and a happy new year! Thank you! Brandon

- Hello Everybody -- Brandon, 18:22:38 12/19/05 Mon
Hello Everybody!
This is Brandon, Grand Island, Nebraska, USA! I must say that I've seen alot, and after posting a coupple of messages, I discovered that somehow the website detects your Email and turns it into a send mail Link. I think this is very interesting. I don't know much about message boards, but I'm sure that there are alot of people out there who could probably give me tips, tricks, ideas, thoughts and suggestions that I would otherwise not know baout. This is something I may have forgot to tell everybody. Remember my conversation, or message, when I said that I planed to present wave files to the people who wanted a sample of my Keyboard music? Well, I play all kinds of music, from Techno, or electronic dance, to Country, Rock and Roll, and others. So Feel Free to send me a message. Please, if possible, include your Email Adress in the message, and I will make sure to send it as a new message as aposed to a reply. I'll talk to everybody later. Remember, everything is beautiful, in it's own way, so be kind to others whom you may meet. Have a good one, and If you for some reason don't hear from me before Christmas, Merry Christmas. Thanks.
Brandon

- Hello Rachel, once again -- Brandon, 01:50:34 12/17/05 Sat
Hello Rachel, once again, this is brandon. I am new to messages.
I never have posted before so I don't quite have the idea down pat as to what you do.
Katlyn said it best. Your the best. If anyone else says otherwise, then they've got it all wrong. hahehahehahahahahaha! Well everybody, I have a joke for you. Know what happened when the fish lost it's money. It went to the river bank for a refund. Don't forget what I siad earlier, about being new to posting messages.
You'de probably get better results trying to talk to me using voice, as aposed to writing, since I don't know how the format is. Forgive the length of the first message. During my initial messages to friends, I have quite a bit of length, this way a person has the best chance to get to know me as they can. It helps if I hear a response though. Alot of times, I never get a response from even people that I've known for ever, probably because they didn't get my message.
I'm working on a project this next week. I play keyboard, and I am planing to make a total of 9 cassettes. If anybody wants me to send them a wave file, mp3, snd, smp, or any other audio filetype, let me know. However, in the initial request, I am going to need instructions on how to go about attaching wave files. for I'm not the best person to try to do that. I want to keep in touch with all of you! For David, working with the blind is easy in my view, however, me being blind myself, one thing I can tell you, is that I was born blind, so because of my senses already being strong, the are actually stronger. Doctors at first had said that I was missing a left middle ear structure. Well, they were wrong. But, I found that as a person, all and all, we learn many ways of doing things. Me and Rachel can relate because we both use the same screen reading software. By the way, Rachel, I may be wrong but I think you mentioned that on one of your sites. Our program is JAWS, standing for, Job access with speech. It uses a text-to-speech synthesizer, eloquence, to produce the speech output. I however, prefer the DECtalk software Synthesizer, which also talks through a sound card. If you visited Rachel's main page, you heard DECtalk do the best singing ever compared to other synthesizers. I'm going to go now, but if you have any questions, I'd like a response from any of you. So drop me a line at kbplayer86@hotmail.com. By the way, this is the! Best! page and website that you could find. Accessable and that works well. Someone who reads this message may find something to remember. I love to talk to people. I'll talk to anybody that asks to talk to me. All they have to do is indicate to me that they want to talk to me and I'm all (hands and ears)! Now, I'd better go before I turn this message into a book without pages. Anyway, I'll send Emails outto everybody, because I do like to meet people individually too. Rachel, please send me an Email so I know you got what I sent you, as my inbox is not working properly to allow for a complete sending of the message. Provided you use outlook express, you might have more luck than I do using Internet explorer to edit and send Email. Anyway, better go. Thanks Everyone!
Your friend
Brandon! kbplayer86@hotmail.com

- Hi -- Brandon, 03:17:10 12/14/05 Wed
Hello Rachel. My name is brandon. I live in the United states of America and am only 19 years old. I don't have very many friends, and this has been the case since I went through tons and tons and tons of abuse that my dad put me through, and I was only trying to get to know him. I love to talk to people. I am able to talk Easier if I have a voice to voice chat, so that I can pick up what's being said. One problem I am having, (and maybe, beings you use Jaws, you might have the answer), I am having quite a bit of trouble trying to send Emails using M, s, n, Hotmail. (note, comma was to allow synthesizer to speak letters corectly). I notice that every time I attempt to use the tab key, I seem to end up where the page began instead of moving forward, or, have all kinds of problems reading Email. Biggest example. I am an amateur radio Operater. When I got an Email from a friend who was building me a strong signal antenna, I couldn't read all of the messages because the detail was truncated, and so it only read segments of the message and not all. Your message board is very accessable. I only wish I knew how that could even happen. I also perform Music, and I am attempting to get it set up so that if a person wants to hear what I can play on the Yamaha psr, or the yamaha Small board, as I call the small black keyboard, well, I may be able to just plug one end of my radio Shack Connecting chord into the Microphone plug, and another, into the keyboard, either the big one or the small one. The big one consists of 599 sounds, 150 rhythms, 101 songs, song 101 done by me, and several sound setup features. The small keyboard consists of 200 sounds, 99 rhythms, and only 2 songs for the song bank, and only room for you to store 1 song of your own creation. I also have a sound craft, audio mixer. This sound craft mixer consists of several controls to make all sounds sound just as good as they should. Perhaps, if I use the mixer, I can play and sing, something I have done for, well, I'd say since I was at least 5. One note. Sometimes, I do tend to get extra detailed when I am talking, however, I encourage anyone to send me a response. If you have a microphone, voice response would be best at kbplayer86 at hotmail.com. Let me spell that out for those synthesizers that tend to misread adresses, like the one I have. The email is, k, b, p, l, a, y, e, r, 8, 6, at, hotmail, dot, com. All one word, all lower case. O by the way, Rachel, did you ever get the Email I sent you via the direct send mail Link? if not, it is probably because I am having quite a problem as said before where the to field allows me to type the adress but does not allow me to confirm whether I was able to send it or not. I like the DECtalk Synthesizer. I actually have version 4.60 of DECtalk Access32 Software, which still has the digital Equipment Corperation type sound. If you are using 4.41 of DECtalk access32, A good way to compare is that when 4.41 says the word enter, as one word, it says it slowly. If you have dectalk, try this. enter. That was with a period. Now in the context. Press any key such as enter. You'll find that if you used that same string with 4.60, that the saying of the word enter alone is said a little faster than with 4.41. So I don't go overboard, I have alot to tell about myself. I was born december 7, 1986. I was born Blind. I am very easy to get along with, in fact, so easy, that you would never notice if I had a problem, except, if my anxiety level goes up. 2 years ago, I went through a strain of abuse while trying to get to know my dad. The abuse was so bad that my brain is actually shrinking. This was acording to a cat scan that was done 2 months ago. I have other disabilities, of which I do not want to go into too much detail about in text, because I do talk better than I write. I'd like to have some friends to talk to. Ones who will be their when I need them, and ones who will listen when I need them to. I have a firm belief that we all have something in common, something we try to do every day, a goal we set, and that we always find a way to reach it. I feel that you have very simple and very, very, very, very structured rules, in other words you have rules that should be followed, like you said. In my view, there's no reason why rules should be broken. Let's talk about what I like to do. I like to talk, as said earlier. I like to play on a keyboard and sing. When I'm talking, it is easy to recognize voices if I hear them enough. For example, Rachel, if I were to hear your voice once, I'd never forget it. never! My memory is that good, although I will say that there are some times where times when I have a little trouble. Again, I hope to make new friends. I live in a town where good friends are hard to come by. I got to thinking about things to make mention of as I've been writing this message. Did you know that when Ringo Starr Advertized the apple sauce in Japan that his name ment Apple Sauce in Japanese? There's a fact that they say is pointless and useless but I still think that either way, it's very interesting. I want your opinion, rachel. Others would try to say that I talk a little more than I should when writing messages, however I talk better than I write. Forgive all the mistakes in the writing of this message, that is one bigger struggle that I seem to notice more and more of. By the way, I'm still trying to figure out the same thing you are about Patrick Perdue. Is he actually Borice? Well, I can't seem to sort that out either, but I shall say He is a talent that I hope continues his good work. You've got I think the best website that ever appeared on a computer's screen simply because you are friendly and know how it feels when somebody tryes to cause problems. I myself can't take bad language or excessive drama because of my history of anxiety attacks. The anxiety attack acording to the doctors are nothing I can control, so I try to watch my stress level. What ever you do, one way to tell if my anxiety is starting to go up is if I start to be excessively slow responding. At that point, if what caused that was a big arguement, try to turn me away from that subject and point me to another. Doctors sayd that I am going to have to have some kind of cues when that happens, because the person talking will notice the problem more than I may. Another way to tell if I'm stressed is if my responses are extremely shorter than this first message. Reason being there. If I am overly stressed, I have a problem where my hands start to shaking. This, again, is not under any control of mine. Anyway, I'd better probably stop right there before I take up the entire page detailing information I probably could send in messages which I will send more often. I added your website to my favorites list, therefore, your site is there for me to view. Note. DECtalk file problem. A link on the dectalk page, which points to arkived DECtalk links, Speech Synthesis Songs and more must be down, I don't know. The link is entitled, (if I am wording this right), click here for all the other wonderful creations that have been done, this link is found on the DECtalk Page. I get a page erroe, and then it redirects me to Andre Louis's homepage. It's not your end of the site, it's got to be a problem with either the server I use, or the fact that they updated it, and in order to view it you would have to go through alot of links and resources before you could track it down. Don't worry about it though, I thought I'd just let you know what I've seen. I'm sure that the others that view your page do not get the same thing, so likely it's my computer. Comments would greatly be appriciated. Keep up the good work, and don't ever hesitate to talk to me if you just want to talk, or if there is anything I can do for you. If there is, I'd be more than happy to help you out if you need. Thanks, Rachel. Have a good morning, afternoon, or evening, where ever everybody may be. I will stay on this sight, to see if any replys come in, or just monitor my Email if the responses will come there. Either way I will watch for the responses so that at least we know that I'm still out ther, eh? Anyway have a good day, night, or morning, as I'm now sure what time of day you are recieving this in Australia's time zone. I've got a lot to learn, and I am more than ready to learn it. Thanks. Talk to you very soon hopefully! Your new friend! Brandon!!!!!!

- TRYING TO MEET THE BLIND -- David, 18:40:29 11/13/05 Sun
Hello, out there.
My name is David. I'm an American. I am not blind, but I would like to work with the blind, perhaps even establish friendships among them.
Problem is, I've never actually seen a blind person! I've offered to do some volunteer work for some local NFB chapters, but the only response I got was from a chapter that's 120 miles from my house! (The irony is that I live in the most densely-populated area of America...yet nothing is going on around here.)
Anybody wishing to chat, or offer advice, feel free to e-mail me anytime. (Thundermist04167@aol.com)
