It didn't really hit me until AFTER I had watched it..y'know, it kinda sinks in after a while. Overall, I thought it was a good episode. Some parts didn't gel with me..I didn't like Akemi for the most part, she just didn't seem so likeable and she didn't have the same sort of inoccence as Gabrielle about her...maybe it was the accent! I thought the scene where she killed herself and was reciting the poetry was pretty powerful though...and the scene when Xena was teaching Gabrielle the pinch! *sob*

One episode to go...
