Thank you for your interest in helping the confiscated dogs. At this time, the shelter that they were at, Chicago Ridge Animal Welfare League claims that everything is under control. A large group of the dogs must be held at this time due to pending litigation, if you would like to help maintain the health and welfare of these animals please contact the shelter directly at 708-636-8586. If you are interested in adopting one of the German Shepherds, please contact Chicagoland German Shepherd Dog Rescue at www.gsdr.org as they were able to pull several and will be screening homes. They do have a restriction on distance to which they will adopt out. If you are further that the state of IL or nearby in WI or IN, it probably would be best not to apply, but you may email her to see if it is a possibility. We appreciate the help that everyone offered and it was terribly hectic, especially since it was Christmas time. We thank everyone who sent crates, food, other supplies, and provided donations to the groups involved. If any of you are interested in Malinois as a pet, Malinois rescue pulled several and is looking for suitable Malinois homes. Thank you again for your effort during this trying time and everyone involved is happy that things are winding down now. May you be blessed in the New Year
