A couple of things come to mind, but you likely have tried them - bland diet (rice), and also pumpkin (canned or mashed) - if the bland helps things after a few days, then you gradually add foods to it and see which irritates the bowel and don't feed it again. My brother's bullmastiff had a lot of bowel problems - all were related to foods. He is now on a yam and fish diet and it seems to work well.
