I added a Northeast Positive Pageantry group page on facebook, be sure to join it.

It is open for discussions, posts about photo shoots, posts to list NE girls who have won at pageants around the country and lists the same pageants that are on the top of this list.

The nice thing is, everyone knows who posts and you HAVE to become a member to post so it will stay very positive!!

Director's who have pageants in the area listed, be sure to post your information over there since there may be members that don't read this board!!

Also you can post photos, so winners photos etc can be posted (just put the pageant in there so everyone knows) or moms show those crowns off, post your photos!

I'm interested in having my two girls age 3 and 5 entered in the Spring Fling in the Natural division, just wanted to know what to expect?

For Outfit of choice or holiday wear do they perform a routine or just walk the runway?

What do they have to enter in order to be eligible to win a title and what are the limits for natural competition?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have added a SPECIAL "ALL IN PRICE" for $250 - this includes Beauty + 2 optionals (Talent, OOC or Holiday), 1 photogenic, side awards, most beautiful and registration - To take advantage of the ALL IN you must have a $200 deposit in by Jan 15th! You can ONLY do 2 of the 3 optionals, no one has a choice to do all 3 (this is because ages 0-3 can't do talent so everyone in the 0-12 has the same number of optionals to choose from)

OR you can also take advantage of the Earlybird 1 and get the side awards and most beautiful free by sending in a $100 deposit by Jan 15th - WE MUST HAVE $200 IN FOR THE ALL IN FOR $250, a $100 deposit gets your sides/MB free but NOT the ALL IN SPECIAL

No extra charge for Supreme titles, and we will not have all those extra door optionals (Just Novice/Pro).....with the exception of Novice/Pro - EVERYTHING is included in the all in - nothing extra to enter at the door

Many other pageants do an ALL IN and then you have to pay to enter extra optionals or to be eligible for extra titles - this includes EVERYTHING but Novice/PRO - EVERYTHING including registration and guest admission pass!

Time to make your hotel reservations for Spring Fling.

The group rate is only $99 and you can make your reservations online!!!

It's best to always make a reservation before the hotel sells out, you can always cancel.

It's more than I expected!

I had an amazing weekend attending my very first FULL GLITZ Pageant at AGG (America's Gorgeous Girls) Nationals in Pigeon Forge this weekend. I went to help out Colleen & Sean with LaBelle Fille and had a BLAST! You all know I'm so, ALL about the sparkle and glitter stuff and it was NOT dissappointing! It's a totally different world than Natural (which I LOVE too!) but amazing none the less! Our very own Georgia NES Age Divsion Supreme, Brittany Michelle Smith Competed and did AMAZING! She looked absolutely STUNNING in every event! Pix are on my Facebook! There was OVER 100 contestants and Brittany walked away with the following:

1st Alternate - Color Photo
4th Alternate - Christmas Casual Wear
3rd Alternate - 1st OOC
2nd Alternate - 2nd OOC
AND the AGE DIVISION NATIONAL SUPREME TITLE! WTGG! I'm so proud of you and so Blessed that I was able to watch you in your element! It was a TON of fun! There were a couple other NES girls their also. THE UGS, Isabel was there and took one of the LEVEL SUPREME Titles... and Syerra was there and also took ADS I believe. They also did very well and looked GREAT!! NES truly does have some BEAUTIFUL young ladies!

** I also received an email that while I was at this pageant... Jessica Marie Daniel ( Our Georgia NES Age Division Supreme, Sweetheart & Overall Western Winner) competed in Tiny Miss Murfreesboro and she won GRAND SUPREME!! WTGG!! I wish I could have been there to watch you also Jessica! I am sure you looked amazing as always! So proud of you for Rockin That Stage! Congrats on your success and please send pics! I'm also very proud of you! I feel so lucky to have my 1st set of Georgia NES Royalty to be such beautiful and talented young ladies! **

Subject: Summer Splash 2010 pageant has a new date and new hotel! We will be holding this spectacular event at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell May 14th-16th! The hotel is beautiful with lots of restaurants around the area. We'll also have a "Dive in Theater" night movie on a big screen and popcorn while you relax and swim poolside! I posted a few weeks ago that I am bringing a bunch of Taylor's things to consign and I am brining a rack as well...if many of you reply I will bring another rack and do it for the same prices Granny's closet does.....so if Granny's could let me know how they work it, I'd be glad to help!

Subject: CHECK IN/REGISTRATION

Here are a few things to remember to help check-in/registration run smooth and quicker to get everyone registered.

Photos will be put into 3 ring plastics. We will have plastics available for you but if you have them in hard plastics, please have them ready to put into plastics.

Also, please have your photos that you want to enter picked out before you come to the registration table to speed things up. We have a lot of girls/boys to register.

If you have having photos taken Friday, you can enter the event, pay for it and we will have it on file, but all photos must be turned in by 8:00am when the morning pageant begins as photos will be judged starting in the morning.

The Stage will be open for practice on Friday evening. we will have to stop practice on the stage at approx 11pm as we will have to add our final stage decorations before we close the ballroom!!!

Everyone please be considerate using the stage, it is NOT for coaching lessons, it is for contestant practice and available for all contestants.

Please remember if you are tanning to bring your own towels etc as the hotel WILL charge your credit card or bill if towels are ruined.

Exchange gifts/Swim-Fit music - these are not turned in at registration. You keep them with yuou until the party and/or your age is called for the Swim-Fitness event.

Pets - Even though the hotel is pet friendly please make sure if you have a small dog you carry it at ALL TIMES in the ballroom. We do not allow dogs walking around the ballroom. We have 2 tiny dogs as people know (Bella and Remy) and even they are in their play yard for the pageant.

I will be at the hotel tomorrow between 10-11 and in the ballroom all night. Do not leave any important messages on the hotel/room voice mail as I will not even get them

Many people are traveling from far away and many traveling just a short distance, either way have a SAFE TRIP and I will see everyone tomorrow!!!

just a reminder that we have changed our Admission from the last couple pageants.

For Sat everyone will have an arm band that must be worn if you are a guest. For Sunday we will have tickets to get into awards.

Weekend passes are $20 or $10 for a single day (Sat or Sun). EVERYONE except contestants and children 12 and under must have a arm band on to get into the competition on Sat.

You can still order them, just email me and we will add them to your registration packet

Siblings are welcome to participate at the party however we have some special GOLDEN TICKETS that can be won at the party and before and these will be limitied to contestants/royalty. If you have another child participating at the party be sure they understandso there are no hard feelings!!! The Golden Tickets will be turned in for "special" prizes at the party (instead of our free raffle we usually do). There are lots of ways to win one, so keep this in mind all weekend!!!! Should a contestant/royalty win or find more then 1 Golden Ticket they can only claim one but they can give another one to another contestant!!!

For anyone wanting to get new natural photos to use at NES nationals. Colleen is doing shoots Thursday night and Friday morning with hair and makeup by Mykel Baca. If you want a natural look to hand in at registration she is doing a special for $150 which inlcudes hair and makeup, and the print. If you are interested in doing a full natural shoot with more than one look or mix it up in doing a glitz shoot as well, she is also offering shoots for that as well. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone in a few days. we have whole new fun theme this year and lots of surprises!!!!

Remember to bring your NES State/Regional sash with you. Those competing as contestant at large, we will give you yours at check-in.

You can bring your own music for Swim-Fitness (no cassettes). If you burned your song from your computer, be sure to try it on a player like in your car as not all burned CD's play on every PC.

Don't forget to bring your exchange gift for the party and be sure to dress as your favorite celebrity (fictional or non) for the party!!!!

HI Everyone!!
Can't wait to see you all in a few weeks!!
As some of you know...I've been on the hunt for the "perfect dress" for Taylor and in the meantime have acquired too many dresses!!!
Hubby says either they go or he does....so after some very careful consideration....lol...I will be selling them and some other great OOC/casualwear & custom outfits on Saturday after the pageant by appointment. They range from sizes 2-5 and many are adjustable. Pricing will be very fair based on what I paid, how many times they were worn (if at all) and the overall condition. I hope everyone is getting excited about Nationals. We have lots of new faces this year and lots of new surprises this year!!!!

Don't forget to bring your NES satin embroidered sash from your state/regional pageant, you need to have it. For those that are competing at large, you will get your sash at check in!!!!

Can't wait to see everyone's celebrity costumes!!!!

You can still enter and make it in the program book!

I just wanted to let people know I will be available for hair rolling, nails, and toes at NES Nationals. I'm a licensed nail tech, Avas always come out nice. Very decent pricing and package deals if you want both. I know money is tight for so many- so I'm not charging much at all. Just to take added stress off moms. Taking limited spots so email me soon. I'm also offering mini facials and shoulder massage for moms and contestants as I know I could always use one- I'm licensed in Aesthetics and spa therapy as well. Pamper yourself at a small price =o) Don't we deserve it?

Just a reminder for everyone. This was in the email EVERYONE registered received!!!!



Hair/Make-up
Remember this is not a high glitz pageant, it is a BACK TO BASICS pageant. We do NOT allow falls, flippers, no glitz photos and no proam modeling. Ages 0-12 can wear blush, clear lip gloss, maybe a tiny mascara if lashes are blonde since there are bright lights and you will get washed out but NO pageant makeup. Ages 13&up should wear makeup like they would going to work or school. We do allow tanning since in swimwear some feel pale when there are girls coming from warm weather states, but it is not required. Tanning is not expensive and there are many options from spray tanning to tanning salons, to self tanning lotion. You can use hair and make-up vendors but do not need to. The reason we changed NES to back to basics was to eliminate all the extra costs and that included the cost of H/M vendors. We do NOT want BIG pageant hair, your hair should be nice and of course for Beauty a formal look but no big poofs or big pageant hair.

If the young ones 12&under have blue eye shadow on they will be marked down. Ages 12&under should NOT have foundation or dark colors on their lips!!! YOU WILL BE MARKED DOWN IF YOU DO


REMEMBER - You do NOT need to use professional H/M, it is allowed but but by no means required, this is one of the reason we changed 3 years ago so you do NOT have to pay for H/M, you can do it yourself and many have and won BIG!!!!! In fact if your H/M person goes against the rules it is YOUR responsiblity to tell them as you or your child will be marked down!

We have some special awards for this including a "MODEL FOR THE AFTERNOON" package. This package includes a High Fashion photo shoot including a disc of photos and model comp card, catered lunch with a NYC Teen Model, and tips on how to become a real model in NYC without getting scammed. They will receive a MODEL OF THE YEAR satin embroidered sash, unique crown, your photo featured on our NES website for the year and more....we are working on adding some nice modeling gifts to this prize package.

Everyone will be eligible for the title (double crowned) and it will take place at the NES party. You will have 3-5 photos taken with a professional photographer dressed in your celebrity outfit on the red carpet in front of the NES press room banner. the cost will be $25

I am EXCITED about this one!!!!

Jessica had Dance Makers workshops and competitions this weekend at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. She completed for Miss. Starmaker with her solo “She is love” and got 3rd place out of 8 just in Sr. division .

This year they gave out 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all 3 are eligible to compete at Nationals finals in Myrtle Beach.

CONGRATULATIONS on all of your success Jessica! You're a beautiful girl and an amazing dancer. I'm proud to have you as part of my Georgia NES "Circle of Friends" (A phrase you came up with) =)

Robert Piazza will be coming to NES Nationals Nov 6-8. He is an amazing photographer, who really has a great creative eye. He is a well known fashion phtographer and is offering natural photography for pageantry. He will be shooting all day Friday and Saturday as well as offering off the stage photos on Saturday, for a really great low price. We are splitting the 11/12 division so it will be 11 yr olds by themselves and 12 yrs by themselves!!!

get your deposits in so we can see if there are other divisions we can split. We cannot split divisions based on people saying they are coming. We do not consider anyone in unless a deposit is on file!

PLUS we need deposits to order NES ssate sashes.

Just a reminder we need a photo emailed (or mailed) of all contestants and royalty. EVERYONE is in the program book.

The photo can be any size (we will size it down). It should more a headshot or send a good snapshot and we can crop it. The photos in the program book are NOT judged and are due 10/21 - after that date we cannot guarentee you will make the book

The Cover Model/Print Model photos are due 10/21 as well as any spotlight/advertisement pages and Royalty Photos/Good Bye messages for the book
