It is both good news and Bad news, depending on how you look at it!

Becca will not be able to hostess at Elegance ---BAD NEWS
Becca will be enrolling into Hershey August 1st---GOOD NEWS

As many of you know we were very fortunate 4 years ago to get our Son Matthew and 3 years ago our daughter Laura enrolled in Milton Hershey Private School.

Becca Applied for the school 6 months ago and has eagerly been awaiting to hear if she was accepted or not.

Well word finally came and she goes August 1st..

Milton Hershey is such a wonderful school and we are very fortunate to be accepted. It is times like this we are thankful for their personalities, great academic excellance for without those qualities we never would have been accepted!

Beccas only regret is she will not be able to attend Elegance and hostess. She will deeply miss everyone in pageants and especially all the NES Systems!

I promised new crowns this year for Elegance. I am always hearing people complain about their crowns as being cheap and that the crown and sash are very important to the girls.

I have a few options. Here is one, let me know your opinions. It comes in 4 different size, as I like when all the crowns match (except those for double crowned titles)

I was asked the question who could compete at Elegance this year and thought I would also answer it here

The Ultimate's cannot ever compete again at Miss & Mr Elegance, they must retire from that system. The Grands (0-3, 4-8, 9-15, 16up & Boy Grand) from last year are NOT allowed to comepte this year

Age Div (Beauty winners) have the option, but I can tell you we have a lot of hostesses this year!! So there will be a lot of chairs lined up


Boys - our division end at 8-13, so boys over 13 can't compete (sorry Donald) but we love having you around and love watching you dance when you host! YOU are always welcome!!

We have added a Classic divisions 40&up at Miss & Mr Elegance. That means the 28&up is now 28-39 and the classic division is 40&up

Since we are now having a program book at Miss & Mr Elegance, we will be having a Cover Model and print Model contest. Cover Model is a headshot and Print Model is a more full body or 3/4 photo, something you might see in a magazine.


The Front Cover will be the Glitz Cover Model, inside front cover will be the Glitz Print Model....Back Cover will be the Natural Cover Model and inside back cover will be the Natural Print Model. All 4 will receive a crown, sash and gift at awards. runner-ups will be recognized at awards.

PLEASE HELP US FILL CINDERELLA'S CLOSET!

NEW or USED DRESSES NEED!

Heavenly Angels Pageants is starting something new this year called Cinderella’s Closet. As many of you know in Pennsylvania there is a school called Milton Hershey. Many ladies at this school do not attend their proms due to the fact they cannot afford to get gowns or cocktail type dresses. I went in May to do Hair and Make-up for Free for 6 of the students who attend and was heart broken to hear some girls did not attend because they did not have a dress. Last year Laura let a few of the girls borrow some of her Short Deb shop dresses.

We are doing a gown collection for these young ladies that will enable a lot of them to attend. The gowns/cocktail type dresses will be given to the school and the school will allow the girls to come and use the gowns FREE of charge for the proms. Once they use the gowns they will be then cleaned and reused again. We are hoping that a lot of dresses are collected and these young ladies will also reap the pleasure of attending their proms.

Dresses do not need to be Expensive Pageant dresses. Matter of fact most of the girls are wearing Deb shop type dresses that at the end of Prom season can be bought for $8 to $15 dollars. The junior prom, which is always held in May, is Lower key and Dresses generally are short. The Senior Prom which is held in June Graduation weekend tends to go more formal.

You may mail Cocktail type Dresses, Prom Dresses to me directly or give them to me at any pageant that I may be attending.

Miss Tammy, I am looking at the paperwork for Elegance and it gives contestant events as: beauty, Casual, OOC and Talent 1 and Talent 2. For children who do not have a talent it really puts them at a disadvantage. Some contestants have 5 chances on stage and some who do not have a talent will only have 3. Any chance of having a second OOC for those who do not do talent or for the little ones who cannot do talent? Thanks for the consideration.

We are asking everyone to say a pray that the Santa Barbara fires get under control. David is from Santa Barbara and we consider it our second home. We spend every summer in Santa Barbara and just love it. We are very worried about his 85 year old mother who may need to be evacuated due to the approaching fire. David will be flying out to check on her as soon as he can get a flight into Santa Barbara which is extremely difficult at this time. Please send lots of prayers her way!

Okay, we have heard your demand for boys. Originally, we were not going to include boys this year due to a lack of interest. However, if we receive at least six boy applications, we will add boys. There will be three age divisions; 0-2, 3-6; 7-10. If we receive ten boys, we will add a Boy Grand Supreme Title. So send in those boy applications. Applications are available on the website.

Thank you to Ms. Tammy and the whole staff for another NES pageant system. I am proud to represent this title. With so many gorgeous girls in the 13 and up, I’m truly honored. When the flowers were handed out.. I just wanted one of those! I haven’t even gone through all the prizes in my basket., but the cash is now at the mall..lol. The party was a blast as usual and I love my Tiffany’s necklace. Justin makes the party so much fun.. even though Donald and I really should have won the coke/pepsi game!
I wouldn’t have been able to compete this weekend without the love and support from my pageant family. Its great to know that I have so many wonderful people to count on. Miss Liz, thanks so much for your awesome ideas. Who would have thought about a cute snowman? You did, and thanks for the accessories.(and yeah, you know that’s MY Ed Hardy bag..lol) Miss Megan, thanks for staying up late and sewing for me. No stress.. just whip up a costume by morning. Thanks!
Miss Grace, thank you for my beautiful H&M and everything else! You really are a “jack” of all trades..lol. Thank you for all those special touches and giving me my snowman sparkle, and all the laughs through out the day to keep me going. You did an amazing job on me, even if I am in your daughter’s age group..LOL. Miss Kristen of KRO, I can always count on you to call me on my way to a pageant and wish me luck. (hope Marisa was feeling better after that extra long drive..lol) Your dress still stops traffic girl. Miss Colleen and Mykel, this photo is unstoppable… we’ve had a fabulous year with our Labelle Fille’s.
Mom and Dad, thanks for putting up with my ever changing mind. I’m glad you are always there to support me, even if it is last minute.
I have missed so many of my pageant friends and this was a great weekend to catch up. Donald, you are so amazing, can you remember all the way back to sunburst when we were little kids? Damitriana, you can play with my “things” anytime.. tell mom to get you a set..lol, Laila, you were such a big girl going on stage by yourself.. way to go! Ellie, its been too long since we’ve seen you and you have to stop growing up, my mom says no fair! Miss Lauren, thanks for being my #1 fan club. I love you, and daddy says we should have brought home one of those babies! lol Little Bri, we sure are pretty in photos, aren’t we..at least this time its in color..lol.
I wish I could name everyone one of you,but this would be even longer. It was a great weekend to see old and new friends.

My little boy (OK he isn't little but he is my little boy lol) just bought his first home. He signed for it last night and will close on it in May. It is a nice condo where they have in indoor pool, outdoor pool, tennis & basketball courts and it's really nice.....The nice thing is, it is only 1 mile from us LOL

I am very proud of him since he graduated college he saved every dime and now he is seeing why that was important. I wouldn't let him get a credit card in college like others as I told him he would be sorry and now he sees why, as his friends have thousands in debt and Nick's money is now in his condo downpayment.

Subject: INFORMATION CONCERNING GDL PHOTOGRAPHY AND STAGE SHOTS AT SPRING FLING

Hello everyone. I wanted to address this issue with all the moms at Spring Fling so that there are no questions about the stage shots at NES. I had a huge camera malfunction and my batteries got so hot in the camera that they melted and I was unable to take as many photos of the kids as I usually do and I even missed some events. I have issued refunds to the ones that this affected. I took the camera into the shop and had it looked at, cleaned and repaired so that there will be no more issues with the batteries getting to hot. If you have any questions about your photos from NES please email me and I will be glad to help you as much as I can. I can remake Cd's if there was something missing that I have and I can remove the red eye that was on some of the photos. But please contact me to resolve the issues. We all know that things get out of control when you assume things instead of asking. I want to make you as happy as I can so if you have any problems let me know. As far as Heavenly Angels this weekend I have the camera prepped and ready to go and I can promise that you will get tons of photos of the kids. So please don't hesitate to order your photos since I will be able to give you the photos you want of your kids on stage. Thanks and again I am sorry for those of you that were not happy with NES photos but if you want to email me and discuss the issues I am here.

Hi MIss Tammy, Wondering if you will keep the pro supreme this year at Elegance? Lots of us competing do not make the cut off for Novice and it gives all of us the same chance at the same amount of titles. Even if it is a doo optional. Just consideration. Thanks.

Since the 13-15 was quite large, actually the whole 13&up was, as I prepare for Elegance, I am ordering enough to be able to split a division if needed!!!

Now remember at Miss & Mr Elegance, the age div title is based on your BEAUTY score ONLY.....optionals come into play for Grand titles (Ultimate, 0-3, 4-8, 9-15, 16&up and Boy)

Hello everyone and I hope all of you got home safely. I want to say that I am deeply sorry that I had equipment troubles this weekend and could not get all the photos of all the girls that ordered them. I spoke to most of you and if we did not then please email me and I will explain and get you a refund for the events I was unable to take photos of. If you did not vome by and get your disc or leave me with an address then please email me as I will be mailing those out TODAY or as soon as I get an address. My email address is gdlphotography@yahoo.com. Again I am sorry but as we all know you can't control electronics and mine decide to malfunction at the wrong time. The 3 sashes for the Mini Grands at Spring Fling do not have a title on the shoulder near the crown. This is because we added Mini Grands at the last minute. If you would like the title added, just email me and I will contact Luane and paypal her to have it added, but it will require you to mail it to her!!!

I hope everyone is ready and excited for Spring Fling. I am very excited. We have some gorgeous crowns (all matching and slanted so bobby pins aren't needed), some unbelievale sashes (my favorites in all the years I have been involved in pagents-Thanks Luane) and some unbelievable prizes, oh and our surprise at awards ....... and all for a very low entry fee during these tough economic times.....I think we have proved that you do not need to spend over $300 to enter a pageant, have fun, get some great prizes, custom crowns, a huge party and make lots of friends.

I am excited to see many familiar faces and lots of new ones too....I am just nervous about my stage decorations, I am very excited about it, but nervous LOL

We will be leaving for the hotel Friday morning, so please remember if you email us on Friday we will not get your message until we return home on Sunday!!

We are still acepting entries through tonight!!! We also cannot accept any paypal's after today
