Two brothers or a brother/sister combination. That way they have a playmate to keep them amused when you are too busy to pay attention to them.

Living with mom after my hospitalization a cat or dog would have been out of the question with her allergies.

So I've grown used to not haviing a cat in my presence. Though I still miss them. I used to go to my cousin's house before my hospitalization when I needed a cat fix. They had about a dozen; but they are both gone now.
