Sonya has joined the police because Hank lied to her and now she has to live with Marco's lie. If she is to have a romantic relationship (whatever that is to Sonya!), there is no room for a lie there.

I only thought about the original show when Fausto mentioned Norway and the fjords because you told me about it earlier. Somehow, I think Fausto will survive. I don't think Groupo Clio will. And with that Fausto loses some power, but I think he will still be around.

Adriana and Daniel are always a step ahead of the police. This time to their detriment, however. I sensed that when they introduced Adriana's partner, Lucy, that it was just to cause some harm to her (something that gays and lesbians have in the past railed against in fictionalized media). I certainly hope that Lucy survives.

Apparently the scene from the first episode, showing the bloodbath, was a flashforward. Chip died, but there were other corpses in the house. I hope it's Charlotte and Ray...not Adriana and Daniel!

Oh I remember the outrage after Tara's death. I've always thought that complaining about that was very silly.

Killing a major character's loved one is just tv formula in order to create pathos, to put the major character on a certain path and to move the plot; it happens all the time in fiction. There's no reason for gay or lesbian characters to be treated differently.

Usually it's the love interest or romantic partner who gets killed, children not so much, so I was "pleasantly" surprised when they killed Marco's son in season 1. I know my sentends sounds awful, but you know what I mean.

The attack on Lucy was quite predictable and a bit of a cliché -- although having Adriana in a lesbian relationship makes it more credible for the cartel hit man might have thought he had his target, unless killing Lucy was supposed to be a message to Adriana, in that case it would have worked with a man as well --, but looks like she used her knitting needles to stab the killer so we had Chekhov's knitting needles earlier in the episode which is rather refreshing and neat!

Frankly, I don't care about Lucy, since we hardly know her, but I don't want Adriana to die!!! I bet Lucy is injured but not dead, though.
