Do you think it is wishing too much to get my heat pump fixed tomorrow? Here I was happy that my birthday was Labor Day this year and it turns out to work against me....

Well, they just finished the work on the heat pubmp and I can feel the cool air even now. But it is going to take a while to get the humidity out of the house and finally cool it down.

I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep. The last two nights I only managed about 4 hours a night, even though last night we had a thunderstorm that rain-cooled the air, it did nothing but raise the humidity. River is going back up maybe to 11 feet, that should stay out of my soybean crop - IF - if it doesn't rain again upstream.
