Subject: So was Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" a rip-off of Madonna's "Express Yourself" or...

....were they both rip-offs of FLEETWOOD MAC's "Go Your Own Way" of 1976? It was good to see them again even if it was from their 2003-2004 'Say You Will' Tour. Lindsay Buckingham's lead guitar and riffs were as great as ever, the man is a font of energy even at his age. It was good to see John McVie at bass but I missed Christine's vocals and her work at the keyboards. Stevie Nicks did a commendable job. She wasn't drunk like she was when I saw her in OKC during the Mirage tour of 1982.

And thankfully the heavy rain held off until the end of the show, just as Nicks was yelling 'thank you' my dish lost signal lock with the satellite. We're having a bad line of storms move through; but it's weaker as it goes through here. 60+ miles north they have a tornado on the ground and about 30 miles south another tornado may be on the ground in the next county south. So, the river will be going into even more of a flood. It's already at 19 feet at Riverton from the rain and snow-melt up north last week (I guess they had a lot of snow in northern Indiana). I hope the fix they put in on the levee this year works (the US Army Corp of Engineers commandeered about 7 acres of cropland from me).

....... yes, I know the song was written about the Buckingham/Nicks romantic breakup, so you don't have to hold me up on that.

It's not as interesting a song as Bad Romance...kind of boring and repetitive is Ali's comments.

Can't win 'em all.

I like the occasional Gaga song, but this isn't one of them.
