After 34 days the Wabash has slipped below flood stage. Hoping for a dry April.... yeah, like that will happen.

[> Lots of snow on the mountains west of us and across the Georgia Strait. -- AurraSing, Saturday, March 26, 09:59:41pm (NoHost/66.183.77.136)

We're due for a cold, wet spring. The only rhododendrons in bloom were in Tofino and Don has only worn shorts once. Global warming results are varied!

...... but to the south, 8 miles in Vincennes, they had 6-8 inches of snow - but none of it stuck on the roadways. Mine is all gone now. The soil is warm enough to melt it.

Like, wow. We've had one day this week that was warm enough to be deemed spring-like. Not complaining, just noticing that I seem to be wearing more clothes than I normally do this time of year...layering is still essential!

I'm enjoying it while it lasts, since the weather forecast looks gloomy for next week already...Sigh.

Not complaining since it's dry today but spring is about a month late. Oh well, I just now have started taking my allergy meds but still wearing too many layers, fresh snow again in the west after yesterday's rain so it's not getting much about +12 or so.

But I don't trust it yet, probably May will turn out to be terribly cold and rainy.
