Granted the show had a very slow start, I was ready to pull the PVR plug on it until about episode 6, when things really started to come together and you could feel the team as an entity. But there is only so much superhero stuff you can do on the show within the Marvel framework and not get into huge continuity issues. Not to mention blowing the budget up in a BIG way!!

I loved see the Lady Sif and the casting for Lorelai was well done, beautiful but still needing the touch to take total control, with that edge of well played sadness underneath. Sif does her duty, there is not enough time in the movies to go into her inner turmoil but I would not be adverse at all seeing her back on Shield again.

Have you seen the second Thor movie?? If not, I will say that Odin wanting her brought back to Asgard alive could have some real repercussions later...

It's clear who Ward really wants and the potential for conflict, I don't think Melinda is the jealous type since she's too pragmatic for that but it's Joss working the relationship issues again and long experience tells me that NEVER ENDS WELL.

Did Fury send Melinda as his inner spy? I think yes and while it still means she is one of the good guys, I know Coulson never would have consented to the treatment if he'd been able to make the decision. Hopefully he and Skye can find out what they have become and learn to deal with it; she's just happy to be alive to try and figure it out...Mike however doesn't have that luxury since he's become the puppet of the Clairvoyant. Who apparently is their new target, Shield be damned!
