Old habits die hard. I rarely post anything anywhere anymore but I do check the board here on a regular basis.

How are you?

We're fine. Andy is in Denver for the big GopherCon programming conference (the company he works for is presenting), Ali is getting ready to write her final university exam for the semester and Don (like myself) is keeping busy with work and enjoying the great outdoors here on the Island.

Looks like you and Lynn have done a great job of keeping it going.

Me? I will have one year sobriety 5-2-14, so yay there. Life is good. I have my own drama free apartment with my two cats and I think I might have finally found a little peace. I am single and find that though it is not my preferred relationship status it works fine for me right now. I will never "settle" again. Ya know?

Oh, did I mention I am a grandma? Maggie and my son-in-law, Collins, have a beautiful little boy named Quinn. He's 20 months old now. Curlyish blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. He's so beautiful. And already too smart for his own britches. Can't wait to watch him give Maggie and Collins hell. Payback is fun.

Maggie is back in college, her 3rd year and is doing really well. My sister also decided to finally go to college and started last year on her 40th bday. She too is doing really well.

Everyone finally seems to have their shit moderately together at the same time for once. I hope it stays that way. My bridge rebuilding can be tiring at times and frustrating but it's all worth it.

Now that I know you guys are still here I'll come by a couple of times a week and check in.

I've missed you AS. Lots.
