Thoughts? There are a few I disagree with but in general I think they got it down right..

I've been watching BtVS on FX and they just did get through it with Chosen. They've got it down pretty much the way I would rank them as well.

I think, however, that it is difficult to rank some episodes as stand-alones. For instance, CHOSEN, which they ranked as #8. I agree that it should be in the top ten; but it would not have that strength (for me) were it not for the set-up of the Buffy/Spike dynamic and the animosity directed towards Buffy in the previous two episodes: TOUCHED and END of DAYS, which are rated rather low.

And I still think Buffy should have driven the pike through the roof of the bus when she jumped on it in CHOSEN. It would have given Dawn something to squee at, then break out into a smile. Plus the Scythe portion would have looked great standing up above them on the bus as a symbol of the Slayer. Yeah, Josh should have asked me my opinion about the end!

I'm off to read the article.
Just want to mention how so many episodes in season 4 are among BtVS's best of the series for character development, movement forward of story arc and just plain fun.
To me, it's the most underrated season and therefore the one I hold most dear...not that I don't love the complete series, warts and all. Thanks for the link, Gabs.
