Well, Indiana would never dream of trying to back a dog down but then again he's pretty much the ultimate pacifist cat. It would be like a potato trying to be mean....

I'm curious, how do the cats and dogs get along in your household Aurra? I always only had cats who were pretty suspicious of all non-family members... and I hope it's not due to how we raised them!

The only cat that does not have much interaction with the dogs is Kandy, who dislikes any potential rival. Cole, our black cat, will share a bed or space with either of the dogs as long as there is no chewing. Indiana our long haired ginger potato cat grew up with Casey and loves everyone, so he's quite happy to play with either dog and occasionally is a chew toy....but then Delilah is quite amenable to sharing her dinner with him so he's willing to forgive the occasional damp patches of fur.
