Subject: I love this song.

Was doing some searching for music yesterday-we went and saw "Warm Bodies" last weekend and while it doesn't have an official soundtrack, it does have some great music from The National, Feist and Foy Vance, along with some older tunes lovingly played on vinyl.Plus the movie itself was good, a close second to 'Shaun of the Dead" as my favorite zombie movie. (well, zom-rom-com, actually) Anyhow, stumbled over the above link and realised how much I love that song and the sentiments within.

Thinking of all of you and smiling right now.

[> The Youngbloods certainly gave it a better sound than the Kingston Trio. -- Lij, Monday, February 18, 09:09:00am (adsl-99-102-184-169.dsl.bltnin.sbcglobal.net/99.102.184.169)

I guess the Trio's rendition was more like Chet Powers (aka Dino Valenti) wrote it. Powers/Valenti had to sell the rights to the song to the Kingston Trio to pay for his defence against some drug busts.

I do like Joni Mitchell's version too. But the Youngbloods turned the song into an anthem for that age.
