Just wondering..... -- Lij, Sunday, May 12, 03:34:12pm (adsl-99-50-225-76.dsl.bltnin.sbcglobal.net/99.50.225.76)
In your underground tour were you anywhere near 4th Ave and Washington St? On the SE corner used to be the Montana Livery, Feed, and Sale Stables back in the early 1900s. Any mention of it?
I think my mothers paternal grandfather used to work there as a night man, based upon a 1901 city directory of Seattle. He had up and left his family in the late 1800s. Not sure what became of him. Cannot find him in Washington death records. I'm wondering if he ended up in your territory or may be further north - Alaska or the Yukon.

We walked past that corner but not on the underground tour. -- AurraSing, Sunday, May 12, 07:07:45pm (d154-20-56-169.bchsia.telus.net/154.20.56.169)
The underground tour is a few short blocks further west, along Yesler and around Pioneer Square on First Avenue.
