Subject: On holidays, enjoying some sun and surf.

Spent four days down in the Victoria area, home overnight and heading off to Port Alberni/ Tofino for the next four nights then the Comox/Courtenay area for a while. Not sure how good wifi will be at either site, so may be very scarce for a while. Ali is busy with work and spending time with her friends, Andy is working hard with his job and looking forward to seeing the new Dark Knight movie. Any time I spend away from work is good, so really enjoying myself I have to say...

Also, new kitten in the works. Adopting a kitten from a feral litter born in a log sort yard in Chemainus, currently getting well looked after in the local pet store. A little ginger boy Ali has already named "Indy", he should be ready to come home when we are done with holidays. Cole will be thrilled to have someone to play with, I feel a little ridiculous chasing him around the house whenever he acts like he needs to play tag!

Ours is now 3 yrs. old and gives his sisters a hard time
but is a complete sweetie too. He's a good boy!

now.

Sounds like Cole will have a ball playing tag with the
new little one. I like the name Indy.

We're off on a mini-vacation of our own for a week or so but I'll check in to see if you're able to give us an update on the little orange boy.

AlI was shopping today with her first real pay check . She paid the rest of the deposit for Indy and bought toys for both him and the new pup I was just telling Lij about.

It's a little like Christmasi summer. The house will be BUSY!!

Andy holds this naming by his sister to be indisputable proof that Ali is a hopeless hipster, btw.

That being said, we've been talking to a Whippet breeder recommended to us by our first breeder and we will be picking up a boy puppy in the middle of August. His colouring is red/white but the way that he's coloured is called "Irish marked"...so I decided to give him the name "Casey". Which is Irish for "vigilant in war".

Doesn't hurt that he's named for a tv tough guy who has a heart of gold either!
