Subject: No emergency clinic at night in Paris only in the suburb
In reply to: AurraSing 's message, "I hope your vet is in tomorrow-do you have any 24 hour emergency clinics there??" on Wednesday, August 15, 08:55:13pm

but we can call an emergency number and a vet comes to your home then (it's the same as the SAMU for human beings).

No more respiratory distress last night.

My usual vet is on holiday in August (her replacement should be there though butshe doesn't know Loukoum well)but there's a new vet around the corner, who's nice, so I'll check later if the clinic is open and ask some advice.

Hard bowel movements have been a problem for months. I had to get him to the vet in May, before I left for Rome. He's been eating gastro-intestinal food by Royal Canin since then, and it seems to help. But lately he also ate other food and there's the issue of furballs.

Just now he vomited again after delivering a tiny dropping!

I will let him rest for now and see how he is in the afternoon.

*sigh*
