Hurricane Isaac dropped 6+ inches of rain here over 3 days. It may have saved the soybean crops from going to the insurance adjuster but it didn't help the corn crops at all, they were already gone. And since that rain it has been raining at least every 5th day. That's almost too much for the soybeans; and it is hampering the corn harvest. The corn won't dry out and the aspergillus mold/aflatoxin problem could be worsened.

It's been one helluva crop year....
