Wish I had some mad carving skills, there appear to be about a million cheap pumpkins in the grocery stores these days. The farm market we visit weekly had at least a thousand growing in one of their back fields this fall...

Speaking of Firefly, Nathan Fillion has the cover and a great article in the new issue of GEEK magazine this month. I bought a copy for a change an it's fun to read about his love of Firefly and gadgets.

On a side note (because of the gadgets thing), you have to admire some of the new ideas out there. For instance, we can now control our "cable" with our cell phones, ie change channels, pause a currently airing show and setting up a recording of a show in the future, etc. Technically we get our tv through our telephone provider, same company we all have our iPhones through and they just released an app that turns your phone into a remote for the programming box. You could change channels or stop a movie playback from anywhere there is cell reception and since the actual remote relys on line-of-sight, sometimes it's easier to use the phone if a pet or the ottoman was in the way. My only complaint is that the app doesn't have a "mute" button for commercials but then again you can just FF through them, I suppose. LOL

Might explain why Casey was blurred on the one.

I've not used my camera on a regular basis for a while now-Blurry Casey was posted on my Instagram account and Whippet owners got a good laugh over it...at this age they are often a blur!!
