I always find the need to have enough population to maintain services,etc versus population burden on resources very interesting. They tell us up here that over the next 10-20 years, certain trades and service areas are going to be very hard pressed to keep enough staff to allow for good levels of service so we have to maintain our immigration levels and yet we need to have enough raw goods and resources to keep the population few,watered,etc. My kids's generation is not really having kids like even mine did and I totally see the need for nurses, trades, etc but sometimes I wonder if one side is only looking at demand but the other side is only seeing the resources dwindling...it's a fascinating dilemma.
