So why did that wild turkey fly into my (closed) front door? I'm only guessing but I think the tom might have seen his reflection and thought it was a rival for the hens for which he was showing off. I wonder if a tom turkey taking on a house gets him any props among the hens?

One of the bloggers I follow was given a rooster. He has no other chickens and it took him a while to figure out why Carl kept spending so much time in one of his small buildings...it has a mirror!!
