Take Shelter that is...

I am not very interested in Kalinda/Lilah's life. I think that her character works in Lockhart/Gradner firm, and Alicia's life, but has repetitive storylines when it goes personal. I don't find it much inriguing, I think it gets old.

Looks like Peter really is on the redemption path...but I prefer him to stay in the margin as well.

For me it's all about Alicia's journey and Will/Diane partnership...and I see Alicia and Cary as the future Diane and Will.

And she has gone from shunning Kalinda to at the very least tolerating her. She even went out for a drink with her. Kalinda as an investigator is a large part of that firm,, and she has helped to make Alicia who she is in that firm.

Oh I totally agree with her key role when it comes to Alicia's life and the firm's cases.

But the endless tease about Kalinda's past and previous life, her constant flirting and using sex to get what she wants as if they had no other material for the character (same with Ei who has become a comic relief mostly), and the so convenient check that Alicia found in her file...it's off putting for me because I consider it poor writing. TGW is a good show and can do much better than that in terms of writing.

I think the writers did a better job with the Eli/Mexican girl storyline or with Diane and her sexcapades with macho men, for instance.
