Subject: I was completely ready to be bowled over by "The Hounds of Baskerville".

But sadly, it wasn't to be.

Perhaps all those years of X-Files and SF novels have left me rather indifferent to the whole 'mad scientist' shtick but this new Sherlock episode was kind of a bore after last week's escapade. Though I will admit they most certainly managed to emphasise what an utter dickhead Sherlock can be to his 'friends' once again.

Off to the "Fall" next weekend. How convenient that Mycroft seems to have been forced to let THAT hound out of the cage...

Same here. Sherlock and John were still adorable together, and Martin Freeman is fantastic, but I much prefered A Scandal.

And speaking of convenient, I didn't mind the Mind Palace scene (very Minority Reportish!)but how convenient that Sherlock had heard of the CIA's HOUND project!

Mark Gatiss is not Moffat.

I think the concept behind "Hounds" was flawed, thus making the mystery pretty banal. Oh well.

"A Study in Pink" !!!!

"Hounds" lacked the fantasy and cleverness that Moffat brings to his scripts.
