I feel a little insulted that we're supposed to take it that this is some kind of ending and the continuing 'religious' overtones are beginning to bother me. Great acting on the part of the two leads though.

I have to rewatch it again , there are a few moments where I was feeling rather irritated by where they were trying to lead us and it overshadowed some of what was going on. I'm not convinced Rory won't be a victim yet again and while I know Eleven is trying to do his best by them, their story is very far from over.
