Subject: The levee broke across the river yesterday.....



So the river went down about a half-foot. They said there were 3 breaks but I guess only one was on the Wabash, the other 2 might have been on the Embarras River that flows through Lawrence county in Illinois.

Guess it's kind of a Russian roulette to see which side gets to be the lucky one at any given flood stage?

It always goes first.

I think it is lower than the Indiana side also.
