I wonder if there isn't some other and bigger revelation about River.Remember what Eyepatch Lady said? I think that Moffat's privilege would be to fool the audience not once but twice !!!

The Doctor's name was on the cot but didn't translate because it was in Gallifreyan, but River knows the Doctor's name, and she was in the cot too...

Perhaps there's another translation of her name...into Gallifreyan this time.

Could River be actually The Doctor? After all she is a doctor too.

And which weapon could kill The Doctor if not The Doctor himself?

The Doctor's reaction and giggles about their kissing could be explained that way too. The ultimate narcissism!

I mean for her to be The Doctor and sort of replace Eleven, instead of dying in The Forest of the Dead and living in the virtual world, perhaps the current Doctor needs to die without regenerating. It would explain the reason he agreed with the person in the space suit killing him. He would die but at the same time the last Time Lord would go on.

Is Matt Smith leaving the show?

I've been feeling more and more that there was a real connection between the married Companions and the mystery woman who keeps dancing in and out of the Doctor's life. So it wasn't a HUGE reveal when River showed Amy why Melody was going to be fine...but it was emotional for all of us, no doubt about it. (we usually sit and watch Who all together, it just seems to be more fun that way)

How they managed to weave together so many of the more vivid plot points over the past season or so was very well done, now we know why we saw pirates!!

Rory's fate? I believe that there was a good reason why River was so stunned to see her father waiting for her outside her cell;the merriment and giddiness she felt kind of turned to awe, didn't it? River is far too nonchalant about her "Sweetie" but Dad certainly provoked a different reaction. Now I really want to go back and look at all the times Melody talked about how she was paying for killing such a good man-as we've seen when Amy was describing her daddy to the wee baby, the lines have blurred somewhat when you look at the differences between the good Doctor and the good Nurse. Right??

Also, no more sex between heteros in the Tardis!! I imagine she's more than a little thrilled over having a quasi Time-Lord because of some inter-dimensional shagging (bunk beds!) but obviously it's a wee bit more problematic than just having to drag out a cradle or stopping for diapers. LOL!!


It sounds like Karen Gillian is not coming back next season but as far as I know, Matt Smith is indeed back.
