Subject: Relaxing in the Little Qualicum Falls campground.

Having a great vacation so far, lots of great scenery and fun times. Parked here for two nights but one of those we'll spend at home, picking up Ali at the airport and shopping for food for our four nights over in Tofino, on Mackenzie Beach.

The north end of this island is great if you love fishing, forests and the great outdoors. But man, there is a lot of trees and not a lot else around the highway. Had a great stay in a First Nations run campground outside of Port McNeill but our short trip to Port Hardy was truly depressing, it's very much the just-as-rundown little brother of Prince Rupert.

Pictures sometime in the next week or so.....

*hugs*

There are some good lakes and rivers to fish in that area especially on the Pacific side, likee around all the inlets leading to Coal Harbor.
