Iggy had to think long and hard about the challenge.

Correction: He had to fight off his building uges to land and fight the Force-User. It was the hardest fight of his life. Though facing the Rogue would be harder. He loved a challenge. There was no puzzle he didn't attempt to solve. No game he didn't try to win. No opponent he didn't duel with.

But Steele was different. The mage and the Jedi knew that mind tricks wouldn't work on him, so it wasn't as though Steele was forcing him to fight. Was he?

No. Even the Force can be fought against and beaten. Iggy had to prove it. This was one battle he couldn't lose.

"The greatest battle one can face," his grandmother often said, "is against oneself."

"I refuse," said Iggy. "If you want your lightsabre back, you'll have to take it from me the hard way. Moreover, there is an aquaintence of ours that has an appointment with Death." He turned to his friend, knowingly, then to Steele. "Further attempts to hail me will be ignored."

"In short," said Death Giver, "You can have your weapon back when we're done with it, or if you kill us. Perhaps not even then. Break transmission."

At Merek Steele's end of the connection, there was naught but a 3-D smiley face wearing a witch's hat, raspberrying him and flipping him the bird. Then, static.

"SITHSPIT!"

"Iggy:1, Steele:0," said Iggy. "Reengage. Stay on course. If you gotta run over the Jedi to get to Tamago VI, so be it." The Dark Elves obeyed. Steele's StarHopper had to quickly strafe aside to avoid being clipped by The Soja as it stubbornly pushed ahead, disintegreating whatever came in its way.
