Author: Star X.
Subject: Heh.
In reply to: Iggy! 's message, "Hah." on 15:43:04 02/05/03 Wed

As soon as Iggy had transported away, Star woke up from her self-induced trance. "Heh," she laughed as she stood up slowly and streched sore muscles. "I'd be a pretty poor Ximian if I couldn't handle that." Moving at a leisurely pace, she walked over to where Iggy left the note. "Heh," was the only sound heard, as she skimmed over the note. "'Will send replacement materia'? Heh, he really doesn't know much, does he, Th'iia?" Star extended her arms, palm up, and brought them to shoulder level. She closed her eyes briefly, concentrated, and felt a small tug. Suddenly, there was a popping noise, and all of her scattered materia returned to its former resting places. "Materia like mine is irreplacable. There's no way I could lose it, anyway..."

Just as she was finishing that thought, Kiati and Silver teleported in. "Huh, should have figured Iggy overreacted when he sent that note," Kiati muttered, a bit disappointed.

"Eh, who'd expect him to have a good grasp on the situation? Ximian healing capabilities are not exactly widely advertized, and you know, of the nine families..." Silver was cut off by Star's interruption.

"Yeah, yeah, we know." Star shrugged. "Next time, I just won't let him pursue the same strategy."

"Yeah, like getting rid of your materia?" Silver sniggered.

"Oh, shut up," Star growled. "It's not like YOU could have done anything about it if it were you."

Kiati, luckily, chose this time to intervene in the brewing fight between Star and Silver. "Okay, so, Star could have fought better, and you shouldn't make judgements, Silver."

Her mediation went unthanked; both parties leveled her with a killing glare and stalked off in opposite directions.

"Ximians..." Kiati sighed, "It's too bad I'm one of 'em sometimes..." Then, she shrugged. "Ah well, there are SOME perks!"

*****
Tie. Eh, ah well. Still, it is NEVER wise to piss of a Ximian. Oh, and so what if I say 'heh' overmuch. It's a personal quirk.
