I don't know what you can do... I know the overreacting bit, that's why I don't talk to my parents about this at all, for fear of what would happen (because I know they wouldn't take it well... at all...), but I don't think there's anything that we can do to help at this point, other than just hoping it will all work out all right in the end, even if it means that Amanda has to run away to Chicago earlier than expected...
