Jerimiah Thomas "J.T." Hogan
AGE: 19
HT.: 5'6"
OCCUPATION: Student/Wizard
NATIONALITY: Irish-American

DEXTERITY: Right
THEME: (J.T.'s choice.)

Professor Hogan, a teacher at Loyola University, met Jess through his son, J.T., who was dating her. The three of them found a common interest in fantasy and mythology, and founded the Literati. The group gained members that were into all aspected of fantasy and sci-fi, from books and movies to D&D© and Magic: The Gathering©. When she revealed herself to be a Wiccan-in-training, they revealed that they, too, were magi. Prof. Hogan was a cleric - having been raised in a family of Catholics, "Holy" magic was the only kind of arcania not frowned upon - and J.T. was a wizard. Daniel learned their secrets too, and soon found a mentor in Hogan, and a rival in J.T. - mind you, J.T.'s is the one competing with Dan, not the other way around. During an excursion to Ireland, Hogan came across a book of magic, and felt that Daniel would love to have it for his coming birthday. Too bad he didn't know about the cult that was after it until he got to Chicago...

J.T. sees Dan as an obstacle getting between him and Jess, as she and Daniel are very close friends. When they are chased by the cult, he naturally blames Daniel for it, since he was what they're looking for. He goes about after the first attack, finding ways to destroy the cult, and the books they are after - even if it means eliminating Daniel with them.
