The wind blows,
Gently swaying the grass,
And mixes with the sound of a flute.
The sounds of a song of mourning,
Drift across the meadow,
Entwined with a song of happiness,
The song of my life,
Played out in music.
A peaceful tune,
Shattered into discord,
Pulled together by a happy note,
A bright light of love and life.
I put my flute in my pocket,
And think of the happiness you've brought me,
You sit down beside me,
And begin playing a melody,
I take out my flute and join you,
In this song of two people in love.
