An exploration of the various forms of psychological violence found within the Roman Catholic Church |

Descriptions of personal experiences, observations, and opinions are even more welcome although it is not intended that this forum should provide an opportunity to attack the Roman Catholic Church.
On the other hand it is recognized that "letting off steam" may be the first step in resolving any personal issues regarding the RCC - please be tolerant of other Members!
This forum is associated with the Psychology and The Roman Catholic Church website which can be (briefly) summarized as an investigation into:
a) Why the characteristics of trauma can make an individual susceptible to religious indoctrination.
b) The 'personality characteristics' of psychologically violent priests.
c) The nature of 'cover-ups', techniques used, and why they are acceptable to those who use them.
d) Etc..
