Going by the messages about weapons dumps, etc. I'm afraid some people seem to have completely missed the point of the Iraq war.

This is NOT about what naughty people Saddam and his sons and cronies are/were. They were undoubtedly brutal - but America has a long and ongoing history of SUPPORTING tyrants, despots, dictators, and mass murderers - including Saddam Hussein.

Nor is it about concern for the well-being of the people of Iraq - America has FAR TOO FEW troops in place to carry out it's most basic law and order duties according to the Geneva convention.

Nor is it about saving the world from the alleged "weapons of mass destruction" - which clearly no longer exist (if they ever did beyond those which the Iraqis actually used against the Kurds and the Iranians).

No, this war is part of a plan by mainly unelected officials lurking behind George Dubya - Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, James Woolsey, etc., the members of the so-called PNAC (Project for a New American Century), supported by Zionist and christian right wing fundamentalist organisations - who have been publicly advocating the invasion of Iraq for over five years as part of a larger project to support the crushing of the Palestinian homeland and for US global domination.

Your troops aren't fighting for a worthy cause but for the insanity of a small bunch of fanatics. Check out the PNAC online. It's all there. They even have their own website.
