The US Republican party's policy was/still is? for government to spend as little as possible, and provide massive tax CUTS to reflect the SAVINGS.
..... The war costs MANY BILLIONS over and above the costs involved in the "normal" running of all of the countries involved in the war.
..... Anyone want to comment on this DIFFERENCE in policy? Was it/is it justified? As I understand it, no undeclared weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq so far. Is/was starting the war worth it? Every bomb/missile used is equivalent to a lot of taxpayers' money destroyed. Too much? Not enough?
