In reply to: Anny 's message, "~Smiles at the chance to work~ Bending! Yes'm! ~She bends much with her neck and leans into the inside~ This doesn't seem very right..." on 20:22:29 02/15/02 Fri

Puts her mind to dressage, sometimes(lol, once I had a riding teacher that had been in the marines. . .I didn't last long- she was TOUGH). She eyes Anny carefully, deciding the best words to explain. "You're looking in with your head too much, and that causes your shoulders to fall to the outside of the track. As a result, there is no bend in your body. Let me try the dirt thing again, and then we'll try it again. Of course there won't always be dirt to draw a track in, but at least this will give you an idea of where your body should be." In the dirt the golden mare draws with her hoof an almost perfect circle. "I want your body shape to stay on this the entire time. And your hooves. You'll have to create a rel bend to do it." She smiles.

Thank you. ~She places each hoof squarely, right outside of the line. She starts trotting and bends her whole body before her neck.~ This better? (NT)Anny11:52:36 02/16/02 Sat
