Date Posted: Wed, Feb 15 2012, 13:13:53 I know that I posted somewhere that I had been fired from the hospital and that I was offered a dialysis position. The offer is truly the easy part! I felt like I was being hired by the FB fricking I! First, as you all know, is the disclosure that there are skeletons in the applicants closet. My heart has only now resumed a semi normal rate. I have been such a bundle of nerves through this whole thing! The offer came in on 1/26, I think, and finally today I was told that all systems are "go". I think I've lost 5# from pacing all hours of the day and night for the past 3 weeks! I have to agree to be in this companies monitoring program along with the states. I don't care, give me the frigging paper and where the hell do I sign? I had to fax corporate compliance a copy of my rma and once she received that, she didn't like that I could only work 48 hrs a week. I then had to appeal to the state to have my O.T. restrictions lifted and to my surprise they agreed! All these things are "time sensitive" I'm being told along the way. My Gawd I thought I was going to have a heart attack a few times through all this. This nurse manager has been soooo patient throughout all of this! I was so afraid he would just say to hell with it, nobody is worth all this runaround.. thank God he's hung in there with it! The answer from the state came yesterday that the O.T. would be lifted and fittingly it was my Birthday..LOL... she didn't send it yesterday though so I was set to worry some more.. my mind was g oing everywhere.. I thought on no, her supv. told her she couldn't do it so now I'm screwed.. too crazy what we go through!! She did fax it today as I just got off the phone with corporate. Now just waiting for my mngr. to call and give me a start date...Hope it's a week.. I'm gonna need a week to recover from the hiring process!
