Hi FI, I hope you let them know of your surgery? Usually it works as Mary stated. You let them know about your surgery and if you are prescribed narcs you must retest clean before you are cleared to go back to work. I know of people that had outpatient surgery, took meds for two days, tested two days after that and went back to work. You will need to have your case manager answer that. And remember please do not do anything without letting them know because it can come back and hurt you in the long run.
