For those that have already been through the job hunting process, what would have you done differently prior to or when you started your job hunting? In other words, what advice would you give, other than not to give up, to those of us that are either applying for jobs or that will have their license reinstated in the near future?

I'm one that will be getting my license reinstated this year, and I'm eager to get back into nursing. I'm trying to figure out what I can do now to help get my foot back in the door (other than the usual - comply with consent agreement, attend meetings, CPR certification, nursing refresher course, etc). What would you have done differently prior to starting to apply for jobs that may have helped you land a job sooner?
