The way I look at it, if you decide you no longer wish to be a nurse, that is a legitimate decision, but please don't let those c*cksuckers make you curl up and die.

The way we are treated by our profession should be a crime, but it isn't. The irony is that we are being treated like dog shit, and, at least for myself, I have been in a solid recovery for more than 7 years.

You KNOW there are currently drugged out nurses that are treated like gold because they haven't admitted to having a problem and they are better at hiding it than I was.

My recovery has nothing to do with how I am treated by my profession. If it were, I would probably be dead now.
