I had letters from a former employer, sponsor, and my therapist. They didn't ask anything about seeing a letter, what step was I on, they didn't ask anything really. There was a panel of board members and when my name was called, I walked up with my sister and sat in some chairs up at the front for the guilty. One guy said, "so you have had 3 dui's since 2003? Yes, I replied and I'm sober now and attending meetings, have a strong support system. That's about it. They said they would renew my license on a probationary status for three years. That I would come off of probation once my monitoring agreement was over. Also said if I had any other alcohol issues withing that time that my license would be suspended.
