Date Posted: Wed, Sep 12 2012, 8:28:14 In reply to: Hailey 's message, "Interview" on Thu, Sep 06 2012, 7:02:14 So I went back yesterday for "shadowing" which basically was meeting and re-interviewing with the rest of the wound care team. The manager said that they were interested in hiring me and was impressed with resume and interview despite participating in monitoring. I met the CEO that knew my hx and he seemed kind and welcoming. At one point I was talking about my situation and the manager even said "we are all human and make mistakes", which obviously made me feel somewhat relieved. However, at the end of it all she said that she had one other candidate that they were interested in and asked me if I would be interested in taking PRN status instead of full-time at least for a little while? I assume to see which one of us would fit better, work better whatever.....which I am not concerned with. But can I keep my M-F NON-RN job until I was able to get full time? I know that as a RN I can't get more that 40hrs, but does that apply if you are in addition working non-nursing job? Do I even have to tell them that I plan on working both since they are not requiring anything from my primary job? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
