Hey April. Congrats on reinstatement! Like you said everybodys situation is different. For me I didn't get suspendedd but since I moved out of state it took me 2 years to get everything lined up and get disciplined - active license here. LOTS of hoops, counseling, meetings, psych evals to jump through. In the meantime I worked @walmart, as temp receptionist and phleb.
Once I got license though I started applying online like mad. And then the first actual interview I went on I got the position so literally I was working as RN w/n 2months of getting my license "back".
I followed a lot of suggestions on here during interview. I didn't necessarily wait until I was offered position to tell about my situation but I did leave it till last so that she got to know me a little first. I took lots of "positive" paperwork ....showing work I had been doing and positive feedback from my recent non-healthcare jobs. Even though honestly she didn't even look at them I think it is good to have the reinforcement. Anyway good luck! Keep us updated!
