Date Posted: Sun, Mar 01 2015, 16:59:49 Hi everybody! I just started my monitoring this week and I have already been tested. I came here to see if anybody knew what I'm being tested for since this is new. I saw my dr and got Rx's for meds I normally take which include benadryl and sudafed. I am only under investigation, not discipline or consent order. The board says they will monitor me for a year only and then my record will be clear. I seriously don't trust what they say but I'm just doing it because I know they can make it alot worse. I don't drink and I don't abuse meds. I am under investigation because I had a concern about addiction while I was not working and under a dr's care. I had been kicked in the head by a pt and it broke my neck. I had surgery to replace the disks in my neck and had pretty severe pain while I was recuperating. Anyway, I made a call to the board asking about my concern that when I didn't take pain med, my pain would be on one side and restless leg syndrome. I wasn't sure if symptoms were withdrawal or side affects from surgery. I found out that I couldn't even talk to a recovery place since I'm a nurse. The board said I was breaking the nurse practice act by not checking into a rehab facility. They said they would investigate me. Now here I am being investigated. I don't want to screw this up so I'm reading all yall's previous posts. I appreciate what yall have all gone through and I sincerely hope this is over soon.
