The job in the prison is over even though I was told by my supervisor that I was doing wonderfully and should apply for the job with the state. (I was working agency, which paid MUCH better)

Supposedly someone said that I was "unprofessional and insubordinate" which was such a shock to me that I had my agency contact call down to the facility again to make sure this was correct. I did everything I was asked and was never talked to about any deficiency.

So, now the agency is seeing what else they can get for me to have a job.

I was initially so upset that I called my old gambling therapist whom I haven't spoken to in over a year, and he gave me some points to ponder so I have calmed down now.

Truth be told, I am glad not to be driving over an hour each way and I did not feel safe in the area where I worked the most. Many of the inmates were severely and violently mentally ill and one never knew when they might "go off."

Well, I earned some good money for over a month anyway...
