Hey all,
It's been a while since I checked in on you or reported what's been going on with me. Where I last left off, there was an allegation that I had relapsed. I cannot confirm or deny on a public forum (big brother watches...that's how I got caught). As of this month, it has been 18 months since I received a letter of allegation. It has been one whole year since the DOJ investigator came to visit me. This investigator assured me that since no laws were broken and that there is no compelling evidence to support the allegation, I should be ok. But I am not so sure. Often when it takes this long, it is because the allegation has been forwarded to the Attorney General's office for formal accusation. I have poured over the disciplinary files for Cali and have seen that one mitigating factor counting in one's favor is to have co-workers (who have been aware of teh past troubles) appear and attest that there has been no evidence of current issues. So I have shared my history with two people I trust. I have a wonderful job as a house supervisor and love my life. Still, I wait for doom to drop on my head from above. Thanks for listening. Any words of support would be gladly appreciated.
